Sammy Sandstone and The Surfseekers is an edgy and adventurous animated series set along the sprawling beaches of Malibu, CA. From creators Stacie Crist and Savannah Harmon and illustrator/animator Emmy Award winner, Kevin Riley, the compelling series stars newcomer twelve year old, Sammy Sandstone as a superstar hockey player and overzealous surfer from Canada who moves to Malibu where he entangles himself in a complex web of fear and inability from which he feels he cannot break free. He learns that by believing in himself and in the legendary Ninth Wave he not only masters surfing the bigger waves but also overcomes the awkward feeling of being "the new kid" on the beach.
The series will chronicle the adventures of five young and diverse surfers who learn important life lessons and the benefit of true friendship. Please show your enthusiasm and support by signing the guest book below. We love to read your comments!

Stacie Crist-Harmon makes frequent appearances as a "superstar Mom" on Fox 4's Morning Blend Mom Squad, she is mom to 10 year old daughter, Savannah, co-creator of The Surfseekers and is the founder of Ninth Wave Motivation, a motivating concept for women - www.NinthWaveMotivation.com. Kevin Riley specializes in 3D/2D animation/illustration/design & branding for programming, film, literature and various multimedia. He has produced work for Nickelodeon, Noggin, Discovery Kids, Animal Planet and a host of other corporate clients. Kevin recently won an Emmy for "Outstanding Animation in a Children's Television Program" and a Global Award for his interstitial cartoon branding in the Health Care industry.

A note from the creator--
As a mother of a young child amidst this influential age of animation; I have come to the conclusion that morals, values, ethics, education, trust and respect are paramount as our young viewers grow mentally and socially. Sammy Sandstone and The Surfseekers is a unique concept set in a popular format, containing a storyline with a moral and cultural slant. In a carpe diem attitude, these characters discover the true meaning of life as they strive for basic balance. Thank you to all who have kindly donated, signed the guestbook and who are patiently awaiting the premiere of The Surfseekers!
